Garbage Record Book Bahamas

In accordance with regulation 10 of Annex V of the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships, 1973, a record is to be kept of each discharge operation or completed incineration. This includes discharge s at sea, to reception facilities, or to other ships, as well as accidental loss of garbage. This discharge or incineration record is to be recorded in the Garbage Record Book and be signed for on the date of incineration or discharge by the Officer in Charge. Each completed page of the Garbage Record Book shall be signed by the Master of the ship. The entries in the Garbage Record Book shall be in English as well as language of the crew if it is other than English. Any required placards shall similarly be written in the language of the crew and in English.
