Two Months, Two Exciting Events
by

Bluewater Books & Charts will be at two exciting events in the next two months. At the end of October, we’ll see you at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show. Members of Bluewater’s Electronic Chart Department will be demonstrating navigation programs, and will be happy to tell you everything you need to know about the best electronic charts available to suit your travel plans. They’ll be burning chips and demonstrating software on location.

Our main booth will be at the Bahia Mar location, and we will be sharing booth space with British Admiralty Charts and Publications in the Superyacht tent.

On November 11-13, we’ll be at the annual Seven Seas Cruising Association Gam in Melbourne, FL. SSCA members fly and sail to this event from all over the world, and see it as the kick-off of the cruising season. Melbourne has always been a great location for the event, as many cruisers stop there and anchor by "The Dragon" on their way south for the winter.

The SSCA has lined up a great series of events this year, including guest speakers and seminars. Among the speakers are many authors that our customers will be familiar with. Nigel Calder, author of the Boatowners Mechanical and Electrical Manual will be there, and so will Kathy Parsons, author of Spanish for Cruisers.

Remember that you need to register with the SSCA to attend this event. We’ll be easy to find—look for our table in the vendor section, and stop by for a free catalog, free book and chart information, and free conversation.
