If you didn't get a chance to come to the seminar with Nigel Calder, don't despair! There's still time to climb back to the ranks of the navigationally savvy. Bluewater's next big event is scheduled for March 29.

There are hundreds of instruments available to make your life easier when it comes to navigation and safe boat operation. From binoculars to sextants to parallel rules, each of these tools has something unique to offer. For example, did you know that one popular company has just introduced a tool that helps you identify a vessel by its running lights? Did you know how to find your exact position on a nautical chart, without using your GPS or electronic plotter?

Bluewater's crew and representatives from various companies, including Steiner, makers of some of the world's finest binoculars, and Weems & Plath, the world's #1 maker of navigational tools, will help you navigate your way through the sea of instruments. Whether you're a beginner or a licensed captain, you'll find these demonstrations both educational and entertaining.

We're holding this event right between the Palm Beach Boat Show and the Dania Marine Flea Market (now held at Dolphin Stadium…don't forget!). So, if you don’t have time to go to these events, or if you can't get the personal attention that you need, come by and see us on Wednesday, March 29. We will offer special discounts on selected products, and will be available to answer your questions about how various instruments work.
