By product type
Bluewater's site is primarily organized by the type of products we sell.

Electronic charts: Both raster and vector charts grouped according to the manufacturer (C-Map, Maptech, Navionics, etc.) and then by geographic area.

Nautical charts: Arranged first by the government agency or company that produced them (NIMA, NOAA, Imray, British Admiralty, etc.) and then by geographic area.

Cruising guides: Sailing directions, navigational advice and local knowledge for every coast and every ocean. Cruising guides are subdivided into geographic areas. Cross-referenced to books with similar subject matter.

Nautical books: A wide range of books grouped by subject matter (seamanship, maintenance, yacht design, etc.). Cross-referenced to books with similar subject matter.

Marine software: Software titles grouped according to function (yacht management, training, communications, etc.).

By geography
Bluewater's exclusive Geo-Referencing organizes our major product categories (electronic charts, nautical charts, and cruising guides) by geographic area. Each geographic area lists all the related products on one page - just the way you need them when you're planning a passage or a cruise.

We also arrange those resources by popular routes used by cruising yachtsmen. These routes organize cruising guides, nautical charts and electronic charts into a sequence much like you would experience if you were actually traveling that route.

By topicality
We arrange non-geographic titles (novels, instruments, etc.) by their topic category. You can be kept informed of what's new by subscribing to our free electronic newsletter.
