Prerequisites
Due to the technology employed on our site, purchasing online requires a web browser capable of executing JavaScript commands. If you have disabled JavaScript or don't accept cookies our site will be unavailabale. We apologize for the inconvenience this might cause some of our customers. If this is a problem for you, we recommend that you enable Java Script and accept cookies. This allowance can be made for the Bluewater site only, if you prefer (Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer). Navigate to the product page
Find your way to the product that interests you (see How our site is organized for more information about navigating our site).

Items that have a geographic specificity (like charts, cruising guides, flags, etc.) are arranged for your convienience by area. Find one product for an area and you'll have an opportunity to immediately investigate other products (scroll down the page) from the same area.

Add the product to your cart
At the page of the product that interests you, check the "Buy" box next to the product(s), click on the BUY button at the bottom of the page. (Don't worry, you can always remove this product from your shopping cart later.)

You may purchase as many or as few items in a single BUY instance.

Price Reductions
Any price reductions will be shown in your shopping cart. 

Your cart's contents
Your shopping cart (obtained by clicking on the "Shopping Cart" button at the bottom of every page) lists the product number, title, and quantity of each item you've selected, the price per unit (price per item), the total for each item if you've ordered more than one, and the total for the order.

Tax (if applicable) and shipping won't be calculated until you're ready to checkout. Tax is only charged for shipping destination within the state of Florida, and shipping charges can be estimated in advance (if you're impatient) by referring to Shipping policy & prices.

Modifying your cart's contents
You can change the quantity of any item in your shopping cart, including a quantity of zero which removes the item from your cart. Clicking the "Modify cart" button will save your changes. Return to your area of interest by clicking on one of the menu items located above the shopping cart.

Checking-out
Checking-out is the final step in the ordering procedure. Clicking the "checkout" link on the bottom of every page takes you to the shipping information page. Here you have a choice of shipping methods. (UPS Surface is the default.)

If your shipping destination is within the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and possessions, you will need to enter your zip code here. The zip code will also determine whether the order is taxable. Orders being sent to destinations in Florida will be taxed based upon the tax rate for each county.

For shipments to international destinations, leave the zip code field blank. An estimate of the shipping charges will be emailed before the order is shipped. An estimate of shipping chares will also be emailed for Priority Mail, FedEx 2-day, and FedEx Overnight shipments to destinations in Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories and possessions.

Click on the "Submit" button. The next page that appears is the last.

At this point, you'll be on the secure server. (For more information, see our page Ordering securely.) You'll notice either a whole key or a close lock on the bottom of your browser. (Conversely, a broken key or open lock indicates an insecure server.)

The contents of your shopping cart will be displayed. If you'd like to make a final change to your shopping cart, click the "Modify cart" link at the bottom of the page. If you'd like to make a change to your destination's zip code or the shipping method, click the "Change shipping method" link near the top of the page.

On this page, you'll need to provide the information requested. Fields marked with at exclamation mark (!) are required - you'll need to complete those fields before your order will be accepted .

Print a copy of your order
We recommend that you print a copy of your completed order before you click the "Submit order now" button. Once that button is clicked, your order is on its way.

If you're not ready to submit your order, use the "Back" button near the bottom of the page to return to your place in Bluewater's catalog or use one of the links at the bottom of the page.

If you are ready, click the "Submit order now" button. You'll receive a order tracking number which will help us locate your order if we run into any problems.

Order acknowledgement
Within one business day of your order you should receive an email acknowledgement from Bluewater. If not, feel free to contact our customer service department by email (help@bluewaterweb.com) or phone (1-800-942-2583, 1-954-763-6533, fax 1-954-522-2278).
