On February 11, Nigel Calder will lead a seminar on navigation in our Fort Lauderdale store. You may be familiar with his Boat Owner's Mechanical and Electrical Manual. His titles include How to Read a Nautical Chart, Marine Diesel Engines, Nigel Calder's Cruising Handbook, Refrigeration for Pleasureboats, a cruising guide to Cuba and more. Our last in-store event, with Chris Parker, was packed, and we expect that this one will be as well. If you plan on attending, you may want to show up early so that you can be sure to get a seat. We're looking forward to the event, and hope to see you there. We're counting down the days until the Miami Boat Show, February 16th-20th. Our booth will be in the Miami Beach Convention Center, on the second floor. The booth number is 2763. We will also be sharing space with Maptech at 2814. Maptech will have some great show specials. If you're planning on attending the show, we would love to see you. Stop by and take a look at all of the exciting new products we'll have at our booth, including the new edition of the Near Bahamas Explorer Chartbook. We'll be burning chips for various electronic chart plotters on site, and we will also have a variety of software to offer. We're working on our brand new catalog, which may even be ready in time for the show, so be sure to ask us about it. If you can't make it to the show, remember that all of the items that we'll have at the show are available through mail-order or at either of our stores, so there's no need to feel left out! Let us know what you'd like to see us do in 2006 by calling us or sending us an email at help@bluewaterweb.com. We want to hear from you. Do you have an idea for a seminar, event or panel discussion? Would you like to contribute to our newsletter? Is there a product that you can't find and you'd like us to carry? Let us know. We're here for you in 2006.
