The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers:
If you are planning a trip along any of the US inland rivers or canals you will be pleased with the excellent quality of the many chart books created by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Each of the different Corps districts are responsible for maintaining and charting their local waterways. The resulting chart books are easy to use and provide a wealth of information. They are all published in a spiral bound format but vary greatly in size. Bluewater Books & Charts is pleased to offer a complete selection of these chartbooks.
From time to time, different districts run out of the chart books for their waterways. But don't be alarmed, Bluewater Books & Charts always keeps originals from which Xerox copies can be made until the chart book in question is reprinted. At this time all of the Corps of Engineers chart books are in print and available.
Of particular interest is the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial edition of the Ohio River charts. This includes extra pages to illustrate key landmarks encountered by lewis and Clark during their journey.
